Christine Chan is an accomplished musician and educator based in Connecticut, bringing over 20 years of professional experience in music education and performance to her work.
Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to sharing her passion for music through both teaching and performing, making a lasting impact on her students and audiences alike.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and Performance from Ithaca College and a Master of Science in Music Education from Western Connecticut State University.
Christine’s extensive experience as a music educator includes roles as a General Music Teacher and Choral Director in various schools across Connecticut, where she taught grades K-8 and directed numerous choral concerts and musical productions.
Her commitment to music education extends beyond the classroom, as she serves as the Church Music Director at First & Wesley United Methodist Church in West Haven, CT, since 2013. In this role, she leads the adult chancel choir and handbell choir, plans music for services, and provides piano accompaniment for weddings, funerals, and other special events.
Christine is currently working on a music album of contemporary piano arrangements of sacred music.
